About Me

If you start reading Defying Gravity then you'll likely notice that my mood tends to alternate between angsty Debbie Downer and hopeful Pollyanna. It's often the most intense emotions that compel me to write. I view the act of writing as therapeutic and cathartic. My hope is that others find my writings to be easily relatable and informative. I aim to help readers through sharing my own trials and tribulations (usually quite openly and in great detail!) If only my health would stabilize, I'm convinced my extreme emotions would too!

I am a twentysomething living with medical issues like Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Chiari Malformation, to name a few. I also discuss other relevant health issues here. However, this blog is not limited exclusively to topics of the medical persuasion. I also publish other random musings as I see fit.

Shoot me an email at defy.gravity321@gmail.com if you would like to reach me! I am open to guest posts, topic ideas, product reviews and general feedback. Thanks for reading!
